Nomination submissions for future inductees for the Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame are now being accepted. The online application can be made by anyone; including a fan, as long as the nominee or their management is in agreement with the nomination. To be considered the nominee (musical artist/group, songwriter, musician, producer/music industry executive) must meet the criteria in the application below. Nomination submission does not guarantee selection.
Private funding for the Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame has been provided by the Procter & Gamble Company, and no taxpayer dollars have been used to fund the stars.
It is understood that, should the nominee be chosen for placement in the Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame, that nominee and his/her management understands that the induction ceremonies are public events. Honorees recognize that, as such, footage and photos of the event are in the public realm and can be used for Cincinnati Black Music Walk of Fame materials, websites, press releases, etc.
